Filters from the old film days

Gregg MacPherson

Recommended Posts

These filters were from the NZ National Film Unit, which was a great resource in it's day for rentals, lab etc. Peter Jackson's company bought it, stripped all the stuff useful in the then current industry and sold the rest.  Some filters without a frame I can't be sure of the manufacturer, but all the labelled glass ones are Tiffen. Many of the filters the pouch is dirty on the outside  with tape residue. All the filters I have cleaned look unmarked.....

Cheap shipping from NZ, working on it.....

Any diopters among the Tiffen Series 9?

Sorry, no. But I do have

- a folding leather pouch containing 4 Eurofilter Series9, ie...1A (2 of), 85, 85N3

- Series 9 filter holder for 72mm thread (Angenieux 12-120, 15-150...). You can screw a rubber sunshade on the front.

- metal clamp on zoom gear with 54mm ID. Think that's from a 15-150.
