Where to find Rental Insurance, ect

Recommended Posts

I'm disappointed that film school doesn't teach you where to purchase General Liability and Camera Rental insurance from. I am a senior in my BA, and got onto a nice budgeted project, but before I can rent out a studio and equipment I need insurance. Where will I be able to acquire this? Apparently State Farm doesn't offer it.

I am surprised the school doesnt have some sort of deal with insurance.

If its student project you should check if the film school's own policy covers hired in equipment. I can't think of any reason why a film school wouldn't have insurance to cover all eventualities of student activities

If its a personal/external project film schools can sometimes still extend the cover if the project meets a work placement or learning outcome.
