Premium Member Stephen Perera Posted June 8, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted June 8, 2020 As en empath and a film lover this film to me has been like a cooling breeze in the middle of the dense heat and humidity in the middle of an overcrowded (like it used to be) inland city ...... Lazzaro felice - Happy as Lazzaro...on Netflix Looks fantastic on 16mm and it really does serve the storyline.....if anyone watches it lets talk about it here...... Jordan Beard
I absolutely loved this film. Helene Louvart is one of the best working cinematographers imo. I highly recommend her earlier collaboration with Alice Rohrwacher "The Wonders," which was also shot on 16mm.

Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted June 12, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted June 12, 2020 This looks great! Interesting choice to keep the image area out to the film gate, I like it. The trailer has a magical Fellini-esque quality. Will have to put this in the cue. Thanks for sharing Stephen.
Jon O'Brien
It looks great! I will seek it out. I wonder if Netflix only buys a certain aspect ratio. Does Netflix every show 2.39 shows or similar wide ratios? Pardon my ignorance ... I'm mainly a DVD kind of person.
