Alpay Birdinc
Hello! I was able to get a rex-5 for a steal but it was missing the battery pack and it just came with the motor only. I looked around and picked up this battery pack but it doesn’t fit. The motor takes a 7-pin power input whereas the battery pack connector is a 6-pin part. I’m hoping someone could help me figure out how to power the camera. Did I just accidentally buy an unusable battery pack ? Here are images of battery pack and the motor. https://ibb.co/xmLqjt1 https://ibb.co/cYBW91n
Todd Pinder
As far as I know that battery pack is made to use with the MST motor, sorry thats all I got!
Jason Thompson
There are 6-pin and 7-pin variants of the MST motor. Sounds like you bought the battery pack for the older 6-pin version. I can make you a 4-pin XLR male to 7-pin MST power cable if you need one. I already made some for Robert Ditto.

Premium Member Robert Ditto Posted March 4, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted March 4, 2021 @Aaron Martin @ OH, Jason's cables are bar none, some of the best work I have ever seen, or used. They are affordable, durable, and look factory made. Best investment I have ever made. Sincerely, Respectfully, Robert M. Ditto Filmmaker
