Looking for a S16mm Camera.

Hi everyone!

I’m looking to purchase a s16mm camera.

Hopefully I would like to get a fully working package that I can use out of the box just adding  film and glass.

Also the idea is to do a lot of handheld work so if a compact setup is available that would be amazing.

Many of you may have figure out already I’m not a DP so I’m not very savvy on the different options, so any help would be appreciated.

Some cameras I think are great for handheld --

Aaton LTR,  Aaton XTR and Aaton A-minima, Eclair ACL, Cinema Products GSMO,  and the Cinema Products CP-16r.

Hi Tyler! I would say around $5-$6k at this moment but the budget can change depending on the options.

if you haven't done much shooting something a bit more straight forward like a Bolex rex 5 might be a great option for you. good luck!
