M Joel W
Seems it should be. For use with a K3 camera. A T2 lens adapter seems like almost the same thing, possibly could be jerry-rigged.

A T2 lens adapter seems like almost the same thing, possibly could be jerry-rigged. If you think about the dimensions, I don’t think it’s possible. An Arri Standard mount lens has a 41mm diameter barrel that protrudes quite a way back into the camera past the mount flange, down to maybe 25mm from the film plane. An M42 camera mount sits a little over 45mm from the film plane and has a 42mm screw thread opening. So an adapter for Arri S lenses would need to be a 42mm screw thread with a 41mm hole for the lens to poke through. When you remember that a 42mm thread is measured by the outer diameter of the screw thread, which means the thread valleys are cut further inside that diameter, it becomes obvious that an adapter is not physically possible. The T mount adapters I’ve seen are for T mount lenses to a PL camera, never for Arri S lenses to a T mount camera.
