Premium Member Satsuki Murashige Posted December 13, 2020 Premium Member Share Posted December 13, 2020 Scan it normally (spherical) and desqueeze digitally it in the editor of your choice. You can either: 1. Do a custom scale manually per clip (usually reducing height by 50%). 2. Create a project with the correct final aspect ratio (say, 2.40:1 1920x800px) and have the software scale-to-fit automatically. My preferred method. 3. Create a project with the original in-camera aspect ratio but use non-square pixels to do your desqueeze. I wouldn’t recommend this method if you’re finishing digitally, since all your deliverables will require square pixels anyway. 1
