hello everyone,

I recently get a arriflex 2C with a flat base, turn out it don't have the gear on the camera to let it use the motor grip on a handheld configuration, where I can get that motor gear? or maybe I can 3D print one?

that little gear on the base of the camera

You can try looking for the 2C phenolic gear on eBay or from a film equipment reseller like Visual Products. I would also try contacting film camera technicians like Andree Martin at AM Camera or Jorge Diaz-Amador at Cinematechnic to see if they have a spare to sell.

Usually the gear is stored ON THE BASE under a little cover. That's so you can't lose it when you go between the base and no-base.
