Guillaume Cottin
Hi I’ve noticed a green tint on my Aputure 300X. The warmer the color temperature, the greener it gets, which leads me to think it might be an issue with the warm white LEDs. Does anybody else have this issue? How green are your 300Xs? Premium Member Phil Rhodes Posted March 15, 2021 Premium Member Share Posted March 15, 2021 They do drift greenish at the warm end, but not usually very much. The behaviour differs slightly in constant-output and maximum-output mode. Here's what I measured: That plus-green error might just barely be visible in comparison to some other light source, but I'd be surprised if it was objectionable on its own. If it's a really big deal, ask Aputure. If you have a colour meter, please measure it and post it here, but most people don't. Out of interest, what are you comparing it to - what's the illumination in the room against which it looks green? Has it run a lot, are there a lot of hours on it? That's unusual, that usually makes them go purple if anything, but I'm guessing wildly here. Is the fan working properly?
