Hello, I would like to create a shot, where the planet around my green screen subject suddenly starts growing nature, sky blues up etc, after he drinks a drink.

Does anyone here think they could pull this off? If so, please let me know, budget is available 🙂

Yeah, the terraforming is the tricky part, that animation you sent is great btw 😄 I'm thinking of recommending we scrap the idea, only a few thousand dollar budget... could look awful!

Well, you could learn to use https://www.blender.org/ and do it yourself.

Doesn't cost anything (except time and electricity). Beauty of CGI. Ian Hubert has some great tutorials working with green screen and adding 3D elements made with Blender: https://www.patreon.com/IanHubert

There are also countless tutorials made by others available on Youtube.

True, although Blender in my experience has the worst user experience in the history of modern computing, the nastiest UI layout, the most abstruse and obscure workflow - honestly, you'd be better off learning almost anything else. You'd make up the cost in time gained just through ease of use on almost any other software.

Hubert is a genius with the software, but the average human being is half a decade from being at his level.

Well, I took up Blender last Summer and I didn't find the experience that horrid, in fact I found it quite pleasant. A couple of versions ago the experience would have been quite different though, I think. Have you used the latest version?

I just installed Unreal Engine after a lot of reading comparisons... It seems unreal engine is a lot more user friendly with a nicer overall, photorealistic result. I actually contacted Ian Hubert, trying to pay him for this exact job but I couldnt get in touch. Looks like he relies on his patreon and youtube and no way to hire him.

Well, Unreal Engine is not a 3D modeling software, so comparing those two is a bit like comparing apples to oranges. But sure, use whatever works for you! 🙂

True ... But actually this is what works yeah. 3d modelling is way more difficult than purchasing models and editing them in this software! Very intuitive!

Blender used to be an UI nightmare.   It's come a really long way from those days.  You're a doughnut way from using it for whatever you want to create.  I learned it at the end of 2019 and it's a great tool to have in your back pocket.  I would totally suggest doing the Andrew Price doughnut bit and then when you're comfortable, cggeek and ian hubert will have the right information to help you pull this off.
