I've come across a site saying the 4mm aspheron for the H8 can work for standard 16mm with no mention of any vignette/general issues (I have a 10mm RX Kern Switar, Bolex RX5 H16, 4:3 film gate). Any truth to this? If it does fit, how does it compare to the 5.5mm aspheron for H16? Cost save is quite something! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Doug Palmer Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 (edited) If it's the Macro 10mm Switar it will definitely work with the 4mm Aspheron. Good quality image, but I don't know how it compares with the '16mm' 5.5mm Aspheron. The image on 16mm will be not be quite as wide angle, more like a 6.5mm lens.
