I was wondering if anyone has picked up the Peter Pan film or has seen it in theatres. I would like to know what you guys think of the lighting in this film. When I saw this in theaters I loved the bright, vivid color pallete used in the film. I was also wondering about technicolor and what it is today as opposed to what it used to be. This film says 'color by technicolor' and I was just curious if that is why the film was so vivid.

Technicolor is just another film lab doing Kodak ECN-2 and FCP processing, plus their ENR silver retention process. They no longer offer what made them unique, which is dye transfer printing.

"Peter Pan" went through a digital intermediate I believe and was probably printed on Kodak Vision Premier (2393) which is the most saturated print stock made, the closest you can now get to a dye transfer print look.
