Jay Cowley
I don't have a HD Camera or anything, or a HD TV or Computer, but I was curious about a few things. If you played back HD footage on a regular computer with NO HD monitor, would the footage look the exact same as if it was taped with a regular MiniDV camera. What what i've heard, isn't HD just bigger frames captured that regular video, therefore it should look much clearer than MiniDV on any computer. Also, how far are we from a little Palm Sized Camera with an 80 gig hardrive, that captures each frame the size of a 4 megapixel camera would with a still shot. If we did this, you would have brilliantly clear video, clearer than film, and you'd be able to get like 20 minutes of this footage on an 80 gig hardrive. is this going to be reality soon.???? Oh and one more question, what kind of media do High Def cameras record too? It's not MiniDV is it? Any camera i've seen in flyers don't show a hardrive size, but they don't say miniDV either.
