dgdoinggood
The DP I hired ( i.e. friend with the best camera) use a Panasonic 200b. We're shooting a family feature with kids. With this camera, whats the best I can expect? My goal is to go television or straight to dvd. The story and shoot is in the vein of Honey I shrunk the kids. Can we achive this, and what are some of the things we can do to get a nice look? Thanks DG
Robert Hughes
Not knowing anything else about your production than the camera used, we have no idea what you're capable of. If you're looking for suggestions or advice; -Get the story as good as you can before shooting, -Get your lighting as good as you possibly can, -Get the best talent you possibly can, etc. If you came onto a Hollywood set with that camera attached to a studio crane, you'd probably wish you had a better camera. But it's what you've got to work with, so it'll have to do.
