Steve Ford
Hi Gang I need to recreate a sexual assault trauma without getting in anyway graphic. I plan to use audio to carry the weight of the event and want the audience to only see blurs and trails like it was shot on film with the camera under cranked. I looked in the manuals and couldn't find a way to achieve this look in camera, but maybe I missed something. Any ideas? Thanks for any advice you can give me Steve
Premium Member John Ealer Posted March 2, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted March 2, 2006 The only in-camera option will be the Digital Cumulative Gain mode, which is designed for shooting in extremely low light. This mode basically sums up successive image samples to get a useable signal level, I think up to the equivalent of +68db. So obviously, you'd need to add ND or stop way down to use this is a normally lit environment, but since you're going for an abstract look, it might be just what you need. Also, this mode doesn't work in progressive scan modes. J
