Davon Slininger
Does anyone know where I can go online to see some examples of various frame rates. I'm planning on shooting something soon with a high frame rate for a slow motion look but just how high is what I need to determine. If anyone knows of any examples I can take a look at please let me know. thanks all!
jijhh
I don't know of any examples online but if you need a reference, you can just do it logically with most computer editing software. Assuming you have any footage laying around on your computer or could just go point and shoot some, just import it and work with the fractions of film speeds (24 frames/desired framerate = percent of speed) i.e. 24/48 is .5 so for 48fps do 50% on your speed change. Alex Wuijts
I have some 70fps footage i shot with my Beaulieu super8 camera, i will post it tomorrow. Here's a link to a topic about a Heineken ad which has some slo-mo shots. http://www.cinematography.com/forum2004/in...006&hl=heineken Edited April 26, 2006 by Alex Wuijts
Davon Slininger
Thanks Alex, Looking forward to seeing it. Checked out that Heineken spot. Says they shot it at 1000fps so i'm imagining 70fps won't be so supernatural looking. Thanks!
Alex Wuijts
Ok, here's two different shots. I would've gotten some longer ones, but i haven't got my external harddrive here at the moment, so this will have to do. Quality is terrible because they're highly compressed and uncorrected. Excuses excuses, i hope it helps :) http://media.putfile.com/slomo70fps
Alex Wuijts
let me know if you have problems playing that file, because it won't load on my computer at work.
