Guest LVD
Hello all, So I have a Nizo Pro coming to me in the mail and doing a little reseach on it I noticed that it has a plug in for pilot tone. I picked up that it is used for syncing sound, but I'm just wondering if anyone can give me a little more info on it. Does the pilot tone actually allow sync sound? Or, does it act more like a clapboard allowing for easier syncing of shot beginings? This will be my first super 8 camera, so I'm pretty new to this whole side of the equiptment game. Any info is gladly accepted.
Bryan Darling
It allows for sync sound work. You can plug a cord between the camera and a sound recorder that has a pilot tone recepticle, such as most Nagra III's.
