Henry Corkum
Hi. I'm new at the NTSC recording system and I am learning as I go along. I'm working as a Camera Technician. I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of how all the equipment used for NTSC is linked and hooked up. Examples of the equipment are Sync generator, DA's, scopes, monitors, VTR's, CCU's, etc. This is the next thing I would like to master. Thanks. grantsmith
a good place to start may be The American Cinematographer Video Manual. It wont tell you anything but does go a little bit into how to set up monitors and scopes etc. You can pick up an older copy pretty cheaply on amazon. I'm sure there are better and more in depth books around but I reckon this is a good start. a good place to start may be The American Cinematographer Video Manual.
