Interval Shot with the F900

Hello, I need to capture a flower blossoming over the course of 12 hours with the F900. Has anybody ever used this camera for a similar interval shot, and have any advice for me? Thanks in advance.

I never used interval shot with the F-900, butI found this in a manual, enter in the maintenance menu, page 8 VTR setup page, 1 frame rec ,and turn to on.

When you press rec, the camera will rec only one frame, but all the tape must be record with Bars before use this intervalometer

 

I haven´t use this intervalometer, so please check it before the shooting day
