Sleep Always screening in Toronto July 15

Super 8 feature Sleep Always is screening at The Camera Bar in Toronto on July 15 at 1pm. Admission is free. The Camera Bar is at 1028 Queen Street West (enter through Stephen Bulger Gallery).

 

We'll be screening off the DVD. The Camera Bar is a small boutique theatre that seats 48. It was opened a few years ago by Atom Egoyan and Hussain Amarshi of Mongrel Media as an alternative screening venue but they couldn't make the numbers work, so it effectively shut down but it can be booked for private screenings and they have made it available for free Saturday matinees. We were offered a spot and we took it.

At the time that we finished the movie we were too exhausted to get into that, but we're working on a making off doc right now (interviewed two main actors yesterday!) We were prompted to do it now, finally, to get ready for a german-language release. We'll make the "making of" DVD available to everyone who purchased the movie from us at cost and will include it if we go into a second printing.
