peter kantor
the size of the diffusion frame needs to be larger than the bounce, right? for example: 10K bounced off of an 8x8 griflon needs to be diffused through a frame that is LARGER than 8x8
Chris Pritzlaff
Ive done wedge lights with the frames being the same size. We put duvatine along the top edge to prevent any spill out the top. The diffusion doesn't necessarily need to be bigger.
Premium Member Chris Keth Posted August 5, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted August 5, 2006 Ive done wedge lights with the frames being the same size. To lose the least amount of light to spill, the diffusion would want to be bigger, but it's often impractical to build them that way. It's usually a lot easier to do what Chris said and build them the same size and just control the spill with duvatyne
