Bob Hayes Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 I shot a small demo project with the PD 150 in letter box and when I went to transfer it to DVD it turned out ?squeezed?. These are just for dailies so I can view the footage but I was hoping they would transfer letterboxed. I know it is easy to make this correction in editing software. I?m just transferring to a DVD recorder. I set the recorder at 4:3 letterbox but it had no effect. Any solutions out there? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PD150 -> RCA (?) -> DVD Recorder (?), etc..... Also, are you just shooting with the in-camera letterbox (black bars inserted on top & bottom) or does it do a squeeze effect? Sorry to ask - I don't know the 150 all that well but I have a close friend that does this all the time and he could probably cut to the chase. I'll forward this thread along.
