caudill
I just got a Panasonic BT-LH1700W and was surprised at how off the color was. I shoot with an F900 & loop out of a Sony 9" HD CRT with RGB. When the Pana monitor is in factory, the bars are perfect but the image produced by the camera has a very green cast while the Sony monitor still looks good. I can get the Pana close to the Sony by adjusting phase, chroma and brightness. Of course, by then the bars are WAY out. Any ideas? Thanks. Mark in Greensboro, NC. Mitch Gross
Hve you tried reversing the loop so that the 17" gets the signal first? I've found these screens to be very accurate, so I'm surprised by your issue.
Premium Member Keith Mottram Posted August 16, 2006 Premium Member Share Posted August 16, 2006 i'll second mitch on this issue, i use one of these monitors everyday and have done for the last two months, i also have a sony pcm monitor wired to the same break out box and the colour shift is extremely minimal and exactly as i'd expect from a crt/ lcd comparison. these monitors are excellent for colour accuracy and i'm hoping to add their 24" model to my suite soon. keith
