Does anybody knows if there is an goodman's gide for the 900 in the PAL version?????

thanks

Yes, I had one from my dealer when I purchased my SDX900E. I trust the Guide is the same for NTSC and PAL, the only difference is the mini CD disk attached to the book, which contains PAL scene files.

Hi Sacha, I'll try to send you the PAL set-up files folder. If you have problems, send me an e-mail directly to my address: pino@audiovisualstudio.it. The numbers in the text files are exadecimal values, but it is easy to convert them in decimal values to manually set the camera's menu.

I found the values for H and V detail too low, the images appear very flou with that values ( 3 and 2 respectively). I don't use a HD lens, but a broadcast Angenieux one.

I normally set them to 10 and 8. or 14 and 10. The factory values by Panasonic for the sdx900e are too high, and the contours are too much enanced. I would like to know if somebody has experienced a good detail set-up for PAL video, to use in conjunction with a good video brosdcast lens, but not HD quality.

Best regards.

Pino
