Sekonic L-308 and Nizo 801

Hi all. I have a Sekonic L-308 meter which I'm going to use for readings when shooting with my Nizo 801.

 

I know that the cine readings from the meter are based on a 180 shutter angle so I was hoping someone would be able to tell me if shooting with the shutter at 1/2 on the camera is a 180 angle? Or will the meter give me reliable readings for the camera if I leave the shutter open? I'm going to be shooting 200T so I'll have the latitude of neg.

P.S. Has anyone tried fixing the lever with tape or something to get narrow shutter angles for shooting, and has it worked, and how did you meter it?
