Mike Medavoy
Hi, These two eye-pieces both fit Arri 35mm cameras - 35BLs for sure, maybe 2Cs as well, I think. Is there any difference between them? The size difference is for sure very noticeable. Is one wide-angle or something? Is one an older model? What's basically different about them? If someone knows and has had experience with them, please let me know. Thank you! best, Mike
Premium Member Dan Goulder Posted May 28, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted May 28, 2007 The bottom one is a stock Arri eyepiece, which is found on the 2C and older 35 BLs. The top one is a "wide angle" eyepiece. Given a choice, you'd probably prefer the wide angle. (There is also a "super wide").
Mike Medavoy
Thanks for the info! The wide-angle one is also manufactured by Arri, but it's newer? Or is it a different brand altogether... And how much should I expect to pay for them? Much appreciated! Mike The bottom one is a stock Arri eyepiece, which is found on the 2C and older 35 BLs.
