Jason McKelvey
I looked at Cavision 16:9, 3 stage 4x5.6"... but they couldn't promise that there wouldn't be vinetting with our lens. Too bad, it's only about $1200 WITH a follow focus attachment. The Chroziel 801 is just way to expensive. I want at least a 2 stage where both rotate and 15mm rails and follow focus attachment. I have done searches in both this website and google to no avail. Thanks, Jason

Mitch Gross
I think that British company went under. Check out Ste-Man or The Filter Gallery for the new Petroff mattebox. Quite nice.
Premium Member Christopher Bell Posted September 14, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted September 14, 2004 The manufacturer of that matte box is very much in business, and well worth cheking out. I think their product is far superior to Petroff. It includes duel rotating stages and a wide shade. The entire kit is very light weight as well. Jason McKelvey
I went to the serious gear website, but it wasn't working right. Anybody else sell that "British" matte box? Jason
Mitch Gross
Glad to hear they are still up and running. That's why I kept from mentioning the name. They are Van Dieman and they make the Mosquito mattebox, which is an excellent product. They were part of a larger firm that went under, but it sounds like they struck back out on their own. You should also look into the products from Vocas.
Premium Member Christopher Bell Posted September 16, 2004 Premium Member Share Posted September 16, 2004 The Matte Box I was refering to is not made my Van Dieman, rather it is made by TLS. Contact Serious Gear for more info in the US or here is link to their web site: http://www.truelens.co.uk/matte/ Chris Bell
