Regular 8mm requires twice as many perfs on both edges. And the 8mm cartridges are almost impossible to find now.
Guest will griffith
Isn't that a regular 8mm camera? It is 16mm/8mm on the box and documentation, although I have not been able to find any 16mm cartridges. we may just try it with s8mm ecktakrome

But you can't stick a Super 8 cartridge in it. Regular 8mm magazine cameras will only take regular 8mm catridges. Super 8 is a different animal. Guest will griffith
I took a second look. It reads "16mm Magazine". The film magazine area is about 3" by 4.75". The packaging mentions using Kodachrome 16mm and 8mm film (you are correct... no mention of s8mm.) Are the mags available for this format? thanks

I understand they bought the remaining stock of 16mm mags from Alan Gordon. They supply the mags preloaded with black and white film.
