Leon Rodriguez Posted October 7, 2004 Share Posted October 7, 2004 I've got 3 of them, Robby Mueller/Pete James, Allan Davieu (sp?)/Sasha Verny, and Geoff Burton on location lighting. I've seen them many times and still wonder if they're worth 90 bucks. They're overpriced for what you get in my opinion. The script that they're all working from is like zip city. Not much there. So you're kind of hanging with some super talented DP's trying to make something from very little. I wish I had bought Dead Poet's Society and Dances with Wolves since you could track the arc of the DP's thoughts as it applied to the material. Never the less I still watch them over and over to pick up a nuance here and there. My respect for those great DP's overshadows the inherent weakness of the sessions.
