Safia M. Dirie
Does anyone know what types of lenses were used for the opening sequence in the Showtime show 'Dexter'? I would like to capture this effect for a short sequence i'm shooting. I am guessing that a macro lense was used to get the fine detail. I could very well be wrong. Any information (lense, stock, timing) on this sequence would be great! thank you!
Premium Member Brad Grimmett Posted December 2, 2007 Premium Member Share Posted December 2, 2007 The show itself shoots on the Panavised F900 with digital primo lenses. But I have no idea how they shot the opening sequence. It may be another format, I'm not sure.

Mitch Gross
I believe that elements for the opening credit sequence was shot on the Phantom HD camera, so that means that 35 format PL mount lenses were used.
