International Travel with 120v 4 bank Kinos

I might have a shoot coming up in Berlin and Japan.

 

I plan on traveling with my 120v 2' 4 Bank Kino kit.

 

For Berlin I will need to convert the power from 230V to 120v with a step down transformer.

 

and for Japan which is 100volts 50hz I imagine I will need a step up to bring out the extra 20 volts needed.

 

I am thinking that because of the size and weight of these transformers I will buy one of each and will be able to run 2 2X4 units off of one. I have been looking in the 500watt range because they only weigh 8 lbs each, and 500watts should be enough to power both lamps (unless the start up power will overwhelm the unit?)

 

Im writing to ask if anyone has a certain transformer they prefer, or if anyone has any suggestions
