Gary McClurg
I was wondering using the camera for certain shots... was wondering if anyone has innercut footage yet...
Mitch Gross
Yes. We've had a few shoots successfully match looks between these two cameras.
Michael Maier
Yes. We've had a few shoots successfully match looks between these two cameras. Mitch, did you think the difference was apparent? I'm wondering if well shot, if one could tell them apart on the big screen. Mitch Gross
One is a sub-$7K caera. The other can be 15 to 20 times more dpending on the glass. Do you really think they will have no difference on the "big screen?" It is astonishing what the little camera can do and for most work it will be an easy intercut. But if I side-by-sided the two and tried to cut between then there would be obviousl differences. That said, we have a major motion picture currently shooting using two F900R cameras and two EX1 cameras. So you can certainly do it and do it well, but there is a reason that they didn't just go with the little cameras. And trust me they would have loved to if they could.
