The Fostex FR-2 is cheaper, uses a CF Card, but again only has two-inputs. While I have used both, and like them, I'm really interested in 4-inputs at a good cost. My research has pointed to the Roland R-4 Pro 4-Channel Field Recorder. But I have never used it, or spoken with anyone who has used it. Does anyone have any opinions on it?
