The best craigslist Ad I ever saw said something like: "Looking for DP for feature length film- must have own camera and be willing to work for credit- experience with depth of field a plus"

Now I remember why I might not be paying cash to the actors for my feature, but I am paying them in shares of the movie. (I figured, grab investors, take 8-12 months to do, and have to split profits with them AFTER they are paid back, *or* give the actors the 50% share that would have gone to the investors and split it up front with them instead... now to get some film)
