Brian Young
Greetings, Shooting a sunrise timelapse on Varicam and I'm most concerned with white balance choice. Should I simply go preset 6300 to make the color 'correct' when the sun is up or 4300 to split the difference between the night lights and morning sun? The shot will be color-corrected/posted. Thanks, Brian

Thanks, Brian Depends on what you want the shot to look like, of course, but personally and generally speaking I would tend to use the cooler (6300) setting since most of the time you want the crank up the warmth of the rising sun, anyway. Brian Young
Thank you - that's been a consensus among some others that I've talked to as well.
