Premium Member Paul Bruening Posted August 9, 2008 Premium Member Share Posted August 9, 2008 Hey gang, Anyone know about this lens? http://www.sigmaphoto.com/lenses/lenses_al...amp;navigator=6 It's made for APS-C sized sensors. Does anyone here have experience with APS-C DSLR lenses. Since this is a full frame lens, will it fully cover my Techniscope frame? What about the Nikon 6mm circular fisheye? Given that it mostly goes to the perf lines of 35mm 8-perf frame, will it fill a Techniscope frame? The idea of a lens that can see behind itself is interesting to me. Software can correct some of the distortions inherent in these lenses, making them a lot more useful and a lot less weird.
Patrick Neary
Hi Paul- I think you might have an issue with the f-stop ring, as in there isn't one. I believe some of the wider Nikon DSLR lenses that look so tempting are the same way, with no manual control of the iris.
