Matthew Edwards
Hi, I'm going to be shooting a short in a well-lit library on a Sony HD-EX1 in a couple of weeks (and the camera is not available for tests). My lighting ratio will probably average about 8:1. The things I'm looking for are 1) softening up the video harshness (just a bit), getting the smooth film-like black falloff, and keeping the saturation of the rich library colors intact - In that order. I should also mention that there are a lot of functional practicals in the shot and am worried that they might burn out on video. Would a seperate filter help that? Thanks, Matt Edited October 3, 2008 by Matthew Edwards
