Lemay vs Microwave

Hi all,

 

Quick question. What is the difference between the silver or gold lemay and the silver or gold microwave in terms of character of the bounce. Also, what will a checkerboard lemay offer?

Checkerboard lamee is a favorite of mine, actually. It's bounce that is like putting a light through 1/2 warm diff. Looks really great on most skintones and if you want less warmth, you can cover part of the checker with a silk or silver lamee.

I was confused by the Lemay term. Lamé is the fabric. LeMay is the last name, as in Bombs Away LeMay, the famous WWII trough Vietnam warmonging general. And didn't put two and two until Chris responded.

Yes Microwave is a Shiny Silver Griffolyn also known as a Silver Grifflector. It's not like Ultrabounce.

 

Silver Lamé reflects a less intense, less specular quality of light.
