XiaoSu Han
Hi we are two young DP's from Austria, Vienna, who own a RED ONE with all the necessary accessoires, but only a zoom suitable for 2K and no Follow Focus, Mattebox, Tripod etc., but we want to shoot 4K and use cinema standard accessoires like FF4 and MB18. The problem is also that this is our first feature in the UK, so we don't have any connections to rental companies yet which could enable us great deals. As we are shooting a feature in London from mid February to mid March,(18th to 18th to be exact) with a very low budget, we are looking for people who would want to rent our RED ONE until shooting begins and would trade us accessoires and lenses for it. We are looking for a special deal from someone who might have lenses, follow focus, mattebox and tripod but no RED ONE, but would need one. So what we propose is: Have our RED ONE for a few weeks, let us use your lenses, follow focus, mattebox, filters, tripod. Hope to make this work with someone who is in need so we can wash each others hands Regards from Vienna, Austria PS: this is crossposted on REDUSER.net to reach a wider audience, hope that's ok. Saul Rodgar
More like barter than for free. I was a little confused by your title. Sorry to nitpick. barter |ˈbärtər| verb [ trans. ] exchange (goods or services) for other goods or services without using money : he often bartered a meal for drawings | [ intrans. ] the company is prepared to barter for Russian oil. noun the action or system of exchanging goods or services without using money : it will be paid for by a mixture of barter and cash. ? the goods or services used for such an exchange : I took a supply of coffee and cigarettes to use as barter. XiaoSu Han
Thanks Saul, that would've been really more suitable to put it that way. Is there a chance to change the topic title? I couldn't find the edit button... Sorry to be a bit catchy on the title.
