Ross Neugeboren
I'm currently watching an eBay auction in which an O'Connor 1030B head with 35L sticks package is going for $100 (starting price). I'm a bit skeptical because on the front of the head you can see the white adhesive backing of two labels, I'm guessing inventory tags. The buyer also tried to deal under eBay's table, (e.g. the $1500 through paypal for me to give it to you now). I'm wondering if there is a site or list where rental houses/production companies report stolen gear? Attached is one of the seller's photos of the item, showing the (what seems to be) removed tags. What do you guys think?
Mike Rizos
This is certainly a scam. Too many red flags. Here's the auction http://cgi.ebay.com/Oconnor-1030B,-Fluid-H...304126007r15901
Tom Hepburn
No doubt. New seller too. How unique. Edited March 7, 2009 by Tom Hepburn
Ross Neugeboren
I figured. It would've been one hell of a deal if it was legitimate.
