Kyle Shapiro
I am shooting my thesis film in two weeks and looked at one of the locations today, an exterior of a movie studio. My issue is that the walls are an off-white color and the only texture the wall has if I shoot against the garage door. My question is how to shoot this, because I have never had success shooting against off-white walls without adding color. I was thinking of cutting the sun light with either a silk or double net and maybe bouncing the sun with a reflector so the image won't be as hot. I am open to any advice, but really just need help to prevent this scene from looking boring. Thanks in advance.
jeff woods
Do you get to choose what time of day you shoot? Early morning or evening might give you some interesting shadows to play with. -j
