Guest Glenn Brady
I've used Nikon F-C adapters on my Bolex H8 RX4 cameras without any difficulty. Long lenses need support, either with an aftermarket rod support system adapted for use on the Bolex or with the Bolex light optical bench (code SUTEL). The Nikkor lenses I've used focus beyond infinity on the Bolex, so it's necessary to focus using the reflex viewfinder (i.e., scale focusing isn't possible). Louis Li
with regards to light loss? would you meter the same as with the rx lenses?
Guest Glenn Brady
There are no optics in the adapter and no light loss so, yes, the metering would be no different than for the RX lenses.
