Gary San Angel
Does anyone have any information on how Angenieux categorizes their lenses and the meaning of TYPE L3 or TYPE L2? I have an older 16mm Angenieux 17-85/2.2 Type L2 zoom lens but I also ran across a similar lens which had a Type L3 instead of Type L2. Does anyone know if the Type L3 lenses had bigger image circles than the Type L2. Just curious if anyone had any history, leads, or information on that and to its meaning. Thanks in advance! Gary San Angel
Also, if there are any lens gear heads who can speak about the Angenieux 17-85/2.2 Type L2 lens and if it has the capability of having an image circle for Super 16 that would be much appreciated too!
