I will be conducting a presentation soon and I was just curious what everyone here thought about lighting in various genres.

 

What examples do you think of when taking on a project for:

Comedy

Drama

Thrillers

 

What influences your decision by the type of lighting you choose?

 

Any helpful advice or resources on where to study Genre specific lighting would be of great help.

Nothing necessarily. There are some very high key sinister stories and I recently lit a very funny comedy in a pretty dramatic style.
