Srujan Sriram
I am looking to build a little studio of my own with some lighting equipment for cinematography. Does anyone own such setups? 3 point lighting setups, maybe. Where and how do I start looking for basic indie stuff? Would this setup be the same as for portrait photography? It'd help to see pictures of some home-based studio setup, if anyone has. Thanks
Ronald Gerald Smith
If I were to invest in lights, I would skip the cheaper indie kits that are sold on the web and would invest in some good Mole tungsten lights for your studio. They are really tough and well built. (2) 4ft x 4ft Foam Core (1) Mole Baby 1k (can downbulb to 750, 500) (2) Mole Tweenie 650 (can downbulb to 500, 300) (3) Mini Mole 250 (can downbulb to 200, 150, 100) C-stands, light stands, bags, foam core holder, stingers.
