PL-B4 Mount

I don't know how this would work, or even if it would work. But could you get a better image quality on a 35mm camera if you put a B4 Digiprime on it in place of a Ultra prime or something of that nature? I hear HD lenses are fare better than cine lenses. I Don't know if there is any truth to that or not, but anyway.

 

Do they make an adapter that would convert a PL mount to a B4 mount?

And where did you hear from that HD lenses are better than cine lenses?

 

As a rule of thumb I'd say that it is always better to use lenses that were designed to use on a certain camera system instead of adapting ones from a different camera system.

i would think that digiprimes wouldn't cover a full 35mm frame, as they are designed for a much smaller target.
