Dylan Conrad Posted April 10, 2012 Share Posted April 10, 2012 I'm doing second unit for a feature which would require me to hike the Adirondacks for several weeks, shooting vistas, sunsets/rises, and the like. Since I'll be hiking with gear, I'd like to cut down on weight like batteries which brings up several concerns.. 1. A portion of the second unit venture will be with an Alexa, the other with a DSLR. I'll be powering the Alexa with V-mount or Gold on boards, so would it make since to just do the same with DSLR? 2. I'd like to charge the batteries while I hike, anyone have leads on charging with solar panels? Let me know! Any info would help.
