How to make a dimmer for 1k light

I been seareching for a video to teach me hom to make a dimmer for my video light and i cant find one anywhere.

I want to know the things i need to buy and a small example of how to put it together can anyone help me.

The best way to make a 1k dimmer is to use quality parts. At www.cinegearstore.com we make our own dimmers and sell them. The key is to use a leveton 100w dimmer with a heat sink. These will cost you about $50 . The edison connectors should be hubbel brand but you can save a few bucks by using leveton. We buy the exterior duplex boxes from home depot. These are made of a heavy duty plastic. The strain reliefs are from home depot as well and are made of plastic. All inside wiring should be sealed with heat shrink and use butt connectors or solder.
