Points of interest in Toronto

Hi,

 

I am curious about Toronto, what are the main filmmaking nerve centers in this area? I know the Toronto film festival, but I was wondering what are the main rental companies (camera or lighting), studios, film schools and universities, post houses, unions, etc... ?

Main rental companies are Whites and PS (Production Services).

 

Main film schools are Ryerson and York University.

 

Main unions are ACTRA (actors), DGC (Director's Guild Of Canada), and IATSE (Branch of US operation for camera dept)

 

Main restaurants are McDonald's and Burger King.

 

Main transportation is dog sled and ski-doo.
