Michael LaVoie Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 I just got an Arri MMF 2 in the mail drop shipped right from Arri. I noticed some significant play in the wheel. Abel Cinetech said I can fix that with a few jeweler screwdrivers but I'm reluctant to open this thing up and mess with it. Any A.C.'s out there that may have tightened up one of these in the past? Stuart McQuade Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 I just took a look at one. In ours there's about 0.5mm of play in the rotation, but I'd suspect that's normal after some wear and tear. There's no movement at all along the (horizontal) shaft direction. How much play are you seeing and in which direction? Is the lock also open or closed properly?
